History
How we got here
- 1973
The Electrical Education Institute (LPE), a diploma-level programme, is founded — the origin of engineering education at Widya Mandala.
- 1982
The Faculty of Engineering is established on 8 June 1982 with the Electrical Engineering department, under Widya Mandala Foundation decree No. 022/Ya/1982.
- 1986
The Chemical Engineering department is founded, broadening the faculty.
- 1997
The Industrial Engineering department is founded.
- 2019
BAN-PT decree No. 3569/SK/BAN-PT/Akred/S/IX/2019 awards the Electrical Engineering programme a “B” rating.
- Today
Informatics Engineering runs an eight-semester undergraduate degree with two specialisation tracks and four active research groups.
